The PCM Chess team has made the playoffs every year since the introduction of chess to Esports. This year, the chess players continued the tradition, with all three players making the top 20. There are no playoffs this year because people have been caught cheating, but none of the three people from PCM were cheating.
Recapping the first eight weeks for Brayden, he played extremely well at the beginning of the season, starting 5-0, but had a struggle at the end of the season, losing the rest of the games he played. Looking back at his season, Breckenridge played opponents #ās 26, 62, 45, 28, 2, 7, and 6. He ended the regular season with a 5-3 record.
Reviewing the first eight weeks for Brycen, he played hard but lost two of his first five games. The end of the season was better than Braydenās since Brycen won two of his last three games. Looking back at his season, Brycen played #ās 76, 14, 5, 13, 30, 19, and 10. Brycen ended the regular season with a 5-3 record.
Evaluating the first eight weeks for Briar, he had about the same start as Brycen, starting 3-2, but ending the season the same as Brycen, winning two of the last three, but ending the season on a two-game winning streak. Looking back on his season, Briar played #ās 32, 5, 82, 3, 14, 30, and 29. Briar ended the regular season with a 5-3 record.
Overall, the PCM Chess team performed similarly, not starting the first five games with the same record, but finishing with the same record, with all players ranked within the top 20.
