On March 23, the entrepreneurship class at the PCM high school, headed by business teacher Eileen Mercuris, started a project to redesign the local towns of Monroe, Prairie City, Reasnor and Altoona. This was not a real exercise, just one meant to show how the students would place businesses and take in the most money in the best way economically. A vote was taken on the last day, April 6, to determine which town was designed the best. In the end it was Altoona for the win, with Prairie City next in line. The winning team consisted of seniors Faith Martin and Logan Hunt, junior Whitnee Gallaher and sophomore Josie Hare.
