After a successful season last year, making it to districts, the Mustang boy golfers are ready to come back stronger than ever.
They plan on having a successful season, senior Ryan Hill says. “I think the season will go well but we will have some up and downs.”
They have some goals for this season and a lot of the player’s goal is to make it to state. It is about more than just going to state, though.
“Everyone’s goal would be to go to state, but I think for a lot of us it’s about having fun and making memories as a team,” senior Braden Phifer said.
There are three seniors on the golf team this year including, Hill, Phifer, and Ethan Thomas. They want to leave their mark as seniors since it is their last year.
“I just want to be able to teach the younger guys and try to be a leader for others to follow and continue next year,” Phifer said.
The first game will be Tuesday April fourth at home.
