May 15 was the senior’s last day of school, so for the seniors on the PCM girls soccer team, they wanted to get a win. They traveled to face the Panthers in Knoxville. Thanks to Aranda Woods scoring a goal in overtime, PCM came out on top. The Mustangs won 4-3.
Other scorers for the Mustangs were Jessica Albright and two from McKinzie Tjaden.
“It felt absolutely amazing [to win on my birthday and last day of high school],” senior Kennah Walters said. “It made me so proud to come together and get the win in overtime after losing our starting goalie.”
The girls will play tomorrow, May 22 at home against North Polk. The game will start at 5:30 p.m.
