As I reach the last few weeks of school, all I can think about is how excited I am to finally be a senior.

All of the last moments. The biggest thing I think of about being a senior is all of the final moments of high school I will experience. It is kind of sad to think about, but at the same time I couldn’t be more excited to finally be able to move on with my life.

The last wrestling meet. I have been a wrestling manager since seventh grade and for the best part of high school to just be over is going to be the worst. Hopefully I can be wrestling manager in college, though. That would be so cool.

My last year of chorus. I have always loved to sing and I may not be the best singer in the chorus, but it still is something I love to do. I am pretty upset because I can’t take chorus first semester due to scheduling, but you bet I will be taking it second semester.

My last Christmas with my friends. My friends and I have had a Christmas together every year since eighth grade. There is five of us so we have had it at someone else’s house every year. We all get together and exchange gifts and eat and just have a good time. I don’t like the fact that this will be the last one so hopefully we will continue having them in college too.

Senior pictures. I don’t know who I even want to take my senior pictures nor have I even thought about it that much. I really need to start thinking about it, though because I want to take some in the summer.

Filling out scholarships. I watch and listen to seniors complain about filling them out and it makes me dread it so much. However, I know I have to do it and you will catch me filling out a ton.

Where I actually want to go to college. I pretty much have had my life planned out since I was little. I wanted to grow up and go to the University of Iowa for nursing and then carry on being a NICU nurse. I recently decided that I am very interested in marine animals and I have thought about being a Marine Biologist. The problem is Iowa isn’t the best place for Marine Biology and out of state tuition is through the roof, so there is another thing added to my stress level. What do I want to do with my life?

I know I will figure it out, though, and whatever happens is what is meant to be.
