Cheer squad performs at State

Cheer squad performs at State

The PCM Mustang’ varsity cheer team performed at the Iowa State Fairgrounds in Des Moines last Saturday, Nov. 7. The Mustangs woke up bright and early in the morning to perform at roughly 10:30 a.m. and placed sixth out of eighteen teams.
“Becoming so close with to all the other girls on the team was my favorite part of the season,” junior Sierra Littrell said. “We all are looking forward to next year; we know what to expect, and we’re going to work our butts off to achieve our goal.”
The Mustangs are done with cheer competition for the year. However, you will often find them at winter sporting events.
Head Coach Tammy Wickett said, “The girls and Joe [Kacmarynski] were disappointed, but they shouldn’t be. There was a lot of tough competition. This team has improved on so much this year, but one thing that stands out the most is stunting
