Addy Pederson, ThunderTV Editor
My name is Addyson Pederson, and this is my first year in journalism, as well as the ThunderTV editor. I am a sophomore, and I am involved in volleyball, FCA, Key Club, DECA, Big Student Little Student, and Yearbook. My hobbies include traveling and spending time with friends and family. I joined journalism in the hope of creating videos/helping and also to improve my writing. I look forward to this year and all we can accomplish together!
MaKenna VanHaaften, Staff Writer
My name is MaKenna Van Haaften. I chose to be a part of journalism because I wanted to be more involved with my school and community. I like the fact I get out of my comfort zone a lot in this class. This is my first year of doing journalism. Some activities that I do outside of school are mainly play with my puppy and hang out with my family this school year. I am looking forward to how comfortable I can be out and about with “new” people.
Annie Ford, Staff Writer
My name is Annie Ford, and I am currently a freshman at PCM. I am involved in cross country, basketball, golf, track, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, DECA, Key Club, and student government, and I plan to do as much more as I can. Some of my hobbies outside of school are traveling, spending time outside, and watching Netflix. My favorite color is green because it reminds me of trees and just outside in general. I love that this is my first year in journalism, and I love it so far and can’t wait to continue it throughout high school. I love to interview people to get to know more about them.

My name is Kenna, and this is my first year as a staff member in journalism. I am a sophomore at PCM High School, and I actively participate in basketball, volleyball, Key Club, and FCA. In my free time, I enjoy hanging out with friends, playing basketball, and listening to music. I joined journalism because I wanted to get out of my comfort zone, and it seemed like an amazing way to get engaged more with the school. I’m very excited for this school year and to learn more about journalism!
Kayla VanderLinden, Staff Writer
I’m Kayla VanderLinden. I am a sophomore at PCM. This is my second semester of journalism because last year I could only be in journalism for one semester. I am on the PCM dance team, and I’m on the golf team. I am also in DECA for the first time. My goals for this year, like always, are to get all A’s and to improve in everything I do. The reason I joined journalism is because I love to write and tell stories. I’m excited to see how my first full year goes.
Rylee Parsons, Print Editor
My name is Rylee Parsons, and I’m a senior here at PCM! I’ve participated in travel softball for over 10 years, journalism for 2 years as the print editor and my last as a hybrid print/ Thunder TV editor, yearbook for 3 years, student government for 3 years, fellowship of Christian athletes for 4 years, first reformed church senior high youth for 3 years, key club for 2 years, and big student little student for 2 years. I love being on the journalistic side of the school because it has given me the opportunity to bond with people while doing something I enjoy!

My name is Skyler Jennings, and this is my second year in journalism as a staff member. I’m a junior and have been involved in band for five years, choir for seven years, football for two years, track and field for three years, and basketball for one year. I have a calico cat named Ash. In ten years, I hope to be happy with what I’m doing —whether it’s being involved in music or working on cars, and to own my own project car.
Levi Edgett, Head of Marketing
Hello, my name is Levi, and I’m a Junior at PCM. This is my second year of journalism. I like to watch a lot of Nascar and other racing, and basketball. I have played basketball for 14 years. I film a lot of sports for Thunder TV and love to interview celebrities. Some of the celebrities that I have had the privilege of interviewing include Kyle Larson, Chuck Grassley and Brandon Myers.
