The Kansas City Chiefs may be the new dynasty in the NFL. The last six seasons, the Chiefs have made it to the Super Bowl three times were but were only were two times were against the San Francisco 49ers, and the Philadelphia Eagles, and were lost to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, who were led by Tom Brady, who was part of a dynasty with the New England Patriots. The Patriots are the most recent dynasty. They won six Super Bowls, all with Brady as the quarterback and Bill Belichick as the head coach. Their dynasty ended when they lost in the first round of the playoffs against the Tennessee Titans and Brady left for a new team, the Buccaneers. The reason why people think the Chiefs could have a dynasty in their hands is because of Patrick Mahomes as their quarterback. His awards right now are three-time Super Bowl Champion, three-time Super Bowl MVP, two-time Most Valuable Player, One Offensive Player Of the Year, and two-time First-team All-Pro. Mahomes is one of many good players the Chiefs have had in the past six years, like Chirs Jones, Tyreek Hill, Travis Kelce, and Nick Bolton. The Chiefs future is looking bright with Mahomes still on his contract and Nick Bolton on his rookie contract, but they may have to worry about other spots. Chris Jones just re-signed back to the Chiefs. He is also getting ready for this new dynasty team, and he is a great player to have around for this team. Travis Kelce is getting up there in age. He is about 34 years old and this season he hasn’t played as well as in his past season and this is Mahomes’ favorite target all time. Also, his brother just retired at the age of 36 years old, so Travis may soon join his brother. The big problem for the Chiefs right now is their wide receiver room. Their last good wide receiver was Tryeek Hill who helped the Chiefs win a Super Bowl, but he was traded three seasons ago to the Miami Dolphins and, showing why he should be part of hall-of-fame talks. Since Hill left the Chiefs, their wide receiver hasn’t played well, like dropping easy passes to Mahomes, who was second in the league in most drop passes or just running the wrong route. But they also won a Super Bowl without Hill, so the Chiefs don’t need him that much. Also, they do have a rookie named Rashee Rich who should be Mahomes’ next big weapon. Looks like the Chiefs are not slowing down anytime soon. With some young players, like Isiah Pacheco, George Karlaftis, and Trent McDuffie. This could be a real possibility for a dynasty team.
