On May 5, the PCM girls’ soccer team traveled to Gilbert to play the Tigers. With Gilbert being a ranked team, the Mustangs put up a good fight but ended with a loss in the end, 3-0.
“I think we did really well,” sophomore Bella George said. “I think something we could do to improve ourselves is to work on possession and talking to each other.”
The girls started off well, with only one goal put in by Gilbert in the first half, but PCM couldn’t score to tie. The Tigers pulled away, ending in the 3-0 score.
The girls play at Chariton High School tonight, with the JV starting at 5:30 p.m. and varsity starting at 7 p.m.
