The Heart of Iowa Conference boys’ golf meet took place on Monday, May 4, at TCI Golf Course in Polk City. The PCM guys played well, as they left with a third-place finish out of ten teams. They lost to Gilbert and Nevada who finished first and second respectively.
Sophomore Ryan Hill was the star of the day for the Mustangs, as he shot a team low, 80. His brother, senior Wade Hill was next up, carding an 85. Junior Reid Jenkins finished his day with an 86. The team finished with an overall score of 339 to take home third place in the conference.
R. Hill said, “ I think the team could have shot a little better because it was a nice day, but I’m happy where we finished.”
The Mustangs’ next meet will be in Pella on May, 16, at Bos Landen golf course for sectionals.
