The wind blew fierce, and the weather was chilly for the PCM boys’ golf meet at the par-72 Lincoln Valley Golf Course for West Marshall’s Invitational on April 20. The field of teams was large, and the team knew they had a tough task ahead of them to place well at the meet. They finished in seventh in the 14-team field with a final score of 357.
Leading for PCM was senior Wade Hill, who shot an 83, followed by fellow seniors Ryan Brodersen and Chase Keuning, who each shot a 90 and 92, respectively. Freshman Dayton Boell, golfing in his first varsity meet, also carded a 92 to round out the counting scores.
Brodersen said, “The team needed Oscar Keuning to be there for us to golf better. I also need to do more squats to distract the competition.”
