On April 20, the PCM girls’ soccer team took the 45-minute trek to Grinnell to face the Tigers. The Mustangs lost 10-0 with their fourth mercy rule of the season. The team was mercy ruled by Nevada, and Newton too. “It’s a disadvantage to us, because we’re a small school and we are going up against bigger schools,” junior Jordyn Mixdorf said.
The girls’ team will play CMB on Friday, May 1, at PCM High School. Varsity will start playing at 5:30 p.m., and JV will start at 7 p.m.
“We can improve on our formation on the field when we play the harder teams,” Coach Bill Sowder said. “We don’t have the confidence that we can do it.”
