The PCM boys’ golf team had their second meet of the week, and for the second time, they finished third. The meet took place at Jester Park in Des Moines on April 16. As a team, they finished with a final score of 346, losing to Panorama and Des Moines Christian, the home team, who finished first and second, respectively.
Senior Wade Hill and junior Reid Jenkins led the way, each carding an 82. Senior Chase Keuning finished with a 90, while sophomore Ryan Hill shot a 92. Senior Ryan Broderson and freshman Noah Lanphier scored a 98 and 99, respectively.
Keuning said, “We are definitely improving, but as a team, we need to work on our short game.”
The boys will be in action again on Monday, April 27, for their home invitational.
