What workout music are you listening to?

Many people listen to music when they work out. Some listen to softer music calming them down and some listen to rap or rock hyping them up. Whether it is an easy day or a max out day, people listen to all types of music. Music can help motivate you if you aren’t in the mood to workout. Music for some makes working out less awkward and able to keep more focussed throughout the whole workout. Gyms usually have some kind of music playing for everyone to listen to which is typically a mix of all kinds of music in one playlist. Headphones at a public gym are very handy because you can listen to your own music. Everyone has their own preference of music but some think that certain music is better for a workout.

Some students think that country music is good to listen to while working out, while others would probably think that’s weird to listen to while working out. More students listen to rap music when they workout. Some people listen to hip-hop music, typically music from the late 90s and early 2000s. Country music has more of the lyrics to go off of for motivation because they normally have more of a message in each song. Rap music is motivating by how fast the music is because the music is at a faster pace and can make the mind more hyped up. Hip-hop music is motivating by the flow of the music because hip-hop has a great flow to the music and is kind of like rap music just not as fast of pace. Quite a few people listen to rock music, rock music has a stronger beat typically has some kind of deep meaning to the songs but not always.

When lifting heavier weights or maxing out people prefer more rap or rock because they hype people up the most. If you want some good songs to listen to when working out here are a few.
