The PCM volleyball team headed to North Polk on Sept. 11 to combat the Comets. Unfortunately for
PCM, the Mustangs came home after a crushing defeat. North Polk broke away with game scores of 8 – 25, 7 – 25 and 15 – 25.
“It was a pretty rough game against North Polk,” junior Ashley Van Gorp said. “They are a great team, but we should’ve competed a little harder against them. We all had our separate individual mistakes, and they added up greatly. The game was something to learn from, and all we can do is improve from here.”
Courtney Van Houweling led PCM with 11 digs. PCM is now 2-10 on the year, and looking forward to turning the tides against their next opponent, Gilbert, at home tonight. Freshman at 5p.m, Jv at 6 and Varsity at 7.
