As the first half of the game rolled through, the Mustangs put the hammer to the Hawks with a large 10 point lead. The Mustangs finished the half 26-16. Then as the second half embarked, the Mustangs were eager to resume the domination and finished the night with a 16 point lead.

The highest point scorer of the night was sophomore Regan Freland who bagged 24 points on her own and sunk three three-pointers. Freshman Lillian Baird bagged her own 19 points and drained five threes.

The girls’ next game is on Thursday, Jan. 4 against North Polk in Allemen. Tip-off is at 6 p.m.
