On Monday, April 10, the Mustang boys soccer team squandered their losing streak in a very close game against Ankeny Christian Academy.
The game remained scoreless until the first half of overtime when junior Misha Seebeck placed his penalty shot to win it for the Mustangs.
“I think our main reason for the win was that we were playing as a team. We had great communication with each other and we passed the ball very well. We stayed strong throughout the whole game and came out on top.” said senior Zach Reed.
After this much earned victory the boys will finish the week off at home against Nevada at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday, April 20.
