The boys soccer team made their way to Pella Christian for the first game of the season. The game ended with a score of 0-6, in Pella Christian’s favor.
It was an uphill battle for PCM the whole game. Mustangs had a total of 12 shots. There were 10 shots on goal made by the mustangs but they weren’t successful. Goalkeeper, sophomore Blake Read had four saves. Senior Graham Davis has a positive look on the rest of the season.
“I think we played well for our first game of the season. I know that the point difference could show otherwise, but as a team we were able to work together to bring a different side to PCM soccer that we haven’t had in awhile. That doesn’t mean we don’t have things to work on, but I have high hopes for the rest of the season,” said Davis.
