On May 20, the PCM soccer girls traveled to North Polk. A tough game for the Mustangs left the Comets on top with a score of 10-0.
“Soccer is all based on teamwork. If there is no teamwork, then there’s no point in a team,” PCM freshman Caitlyn Walters said. “What I took from the North Polk game was that we kept our heads up and kept pushing each other to do the best we can.”
The Mustangs will play their first regional game tonight, May 26, starting at 5 p.m. in Norwalk.
Walters also said, “I benefit the team by encouraging them to try their best. I always say ‘When you feel like quitting, think about why you started.”’
