About the Contributors
Zach Richards, TTV Anchor
My name is Zach Richards; this is my first year in journalism as a staff member. I am a senior in high school and I’m involved in many activities. I went to Australia my sophomore year and I love to travel. My spirit animal would probably be a sea turtle or manta ray because they get to swim freely in the ocean. I joined journalism to help with Thunder TV because it looked fun. I really look forward to bonding more with the rest of the journalism group, they are a great group of people. I hope we accomplish many things this year but mainly one thing I hope to accomplish is getting different news out to people and having different people get involved with TTV and the PCM Outlook.
Piper Clark, TTV Editor and Anchor
My name is Piper Clark, and this is my second year in journalism. I am a senior in high school, and I participate in the fall play, 4H, key club, student government, speech, NHS, big student little student, choir, and honor choir. I enjoy volunteering, listening to music, and spending time with my friends. I first decided to join journalism because it’s a good opportunity to meet new people. I’m excited to edit TTV and the Outlook this year!
MaKenna VanHaaften, Staff Writer
My name is MaKenna Van Haaften. I chose to be a part of journalism because I wanted to be more involved with my school and community. I like the fact I get out of my comfort zone a lot in this class. This is my first year of doing journalism. Some activities that I do outside of school are mainly play with my puppy and hang out with my family this school year. I am looking forward to how comfortable I can be out and about with “new” people.
Skyler Jennings, Staff Member
My name is Skyler Jennings, and this is my second year in journalism as a staff member. I’m a junior and have been involved in band for five years, choir for seven years, football for two years, track and field for three years, and basketball for one year. I have a calico cat named Ash. In ten years, I hope to be happy with what I’m doing —whether it’s being involved in music or working on cars, and to own my own project car.
