A couple of weeks ago, Shohei Ohtani who plays for the Los Angeles Dodgers is in some deep water right now for sports betting. Right now the story goes that his interpreter was the one who was putting bets on a baseball game that Ohatani was playing in. Ohtani just signed with the Los Angeles Dodgers this season and his contract was a 10-year deal up to 700-million-dollars. In the last couple of years, Ohtani has been with the Los Angeles Angels. He is a 2-rayer player. Both pitch and hit. Most baseball players don’t do this like Ohtani does. His career stats are 2,520 at bats, 435 runs, 691 hits, 132 doubles, 29 triples, 172 home runs, 441 runs batted in, 354 walks, 764 strikeouts, 87 stolen bases, .274 batting average, 11504 pitches. Just a couple of nights ago, Shohei Otani got his first home run playing for the Los Angeles Dodgers. Yet again, there is something going on again. The fan who caught Otani’s home run wasn’t happy about the trade-off. Most of the time when an MLB player hits a home run, and it’s very important for the history of baseball or the player, it’s very likely a baseball fan caught that ball. The fan who caught Otani’s home run said that they pressured her to give up the ball. She wished the award was for meeting Shohei Ohtani or something big like, but she said that at the end of the day she was still a big fan of the team.
