Mustangs love to have fun and be creative, especially when raising money for a foundation. A group of FFA students put together a fun week to celebrate FFA Week by coming up with activities and dress-up days. PCM’s FFA Week is February 21-23. FFA officers, senior Hope Buckley-Bonham, junior Meredith Chips, and sophomore Gretchen Uitermarkt highlight the plans for the upcoming FFA activities.
The week goes as follows:
Wednesday (21) = There will be an officer trivia, and students and staff can wear camouflage or their Carhart apparel.
Thursday (22) = There’s an Ag Olympics and the dress-up is titled “Counting Sheep”, which is where staff and students can wear their pajamas.
Friday (23) = A staff breakfast is held and they may wear their FFA Apparel.
For the following week, there will be a pie-in-the-face contest during the eighth period. Each officer will have a jar under their picture. Whichever officer has the most money in their jar gets pied in the face. The money put into jars will be given to the Seeds of Hope Foundation. Then, on Wednesday, the FFA members will take a trip to the middle school for an assembly.
