NFL Draft reaction

The NFL Draft took place April 27,  2023. There were some big names and great players that got drafted and some that didn’t. There were three great quarterbacks that could have gone first overall to the Panthers. Bryce Young, C.J. Stroud and Will Levis: those three quarterbacks were predicted to go first overall. The first overall pick in the 2023 NFL draft was Bryce Young and coming in at a close second the Texns drafted C.J. Stroud 2nd overall and Will Levis fell all the way down to the second round of the draft, which was not good because they invited him to the actual draft and the only other person to go to the draft and not get picked was Green Bay Quarterback Aaron Rodgers. Levis ended up going in the second round 2nd pick. The team that had the best draft was definitely the Philadelphia Eagles with their first pick they drafted Jalen Carter out of Georgia, which was arguably the best defensive tackle in the draft. With their next pick in the first round they took a defensive end out of Georgia as well. They also got an Offensive tackle from Alabama,  had a handful of other great picks that will help the already amazing team that they are. The Eagles also traded for running back D’andre Swift which is a very good upgrade for their backfield. Teams should be scared for the Eagles this upcoming season.

 The Dallas Cowboys also had a pretty good draft as well. With their first round pick they picked up a defensive tackle out of Michigan Mazi Smith and they also took his teammate tight end Luke Schoonmaker with their second round pick. In the third round they picked up a linebacker out of Texas DeMarvion Overshown who is a freaky fast linebacker that was originally a safety which explains his freaky fast ability. In the 6th round the cowboys picked up a five foot six running back out of Kansas Deuce Vaughn, a very fast, very small running back that will be a very good piece to the Dallas offense. His father is a Dallas team member and his dad got to put in the ticket for him to be selected which is an amazing moment by itself. Deuce was always hated on for his size and people always said that he wouldn’t make it to the NFL but he proved everyone wrong. This draft had a lot of good players and everyone is looking forward to seeing all of them play.
