The PCM High School Girls Track and Field team traveled to Eddyville for the Eddy Relays on April 18, and scored 90 points placing them third. Some events that placed first included Abi Teeter in the 1500 meter run, Morgan Karr in the 100 meter hurdle, the shuttle hurdle team of Karr, Lillian Humpal, Jorja Teeter and Tori Lindsay, and Rylee Gallaher in shot put. 

Lindsay ran a time of 1:14.81 in the 400 meter hurdle placing her second with Addison Steenhoek following behind her placing fifth with a time of 1:23.96. The 4 by 800 team of A. Teeter, A. Steenhoek, Paige Steenhoek and Tiffany Koonce placed second with a time of 10:58.07. P. Steenhoek ran a time of 5:42.77 placing her third in the 1500 meter run. The 4 by 200 team of Lindsay, Koonce, Jorja Teeter and Humpal placed third with a time of 1:56.86. Rylee Gallaher placed third in Discus with a throw of 99-03. 

In the 3000 meter run, Makayla True placed fourth with a time of 13:20.19 and Jillian Fairbanks followed right behind her placing fifth with a time of 15:19.31. The 4 by 400 team of Sophia Steenhoek, Claire VanWyk, Paiten Rumbaugh and Koonce ran a time of 4:50.47 placing them fourth. The 800 sprint medley team of Karr, J. Teeter, Ryan Bennett and S. Steenhoek placed fifth with a time of 2:05.90. Regan Vannoy placed sixth in the 800 meter run with a time of 2:55.22. The distance medley team of Stella Stravers, Elle Davis, A. Teeter and Vannoy ran a time of 5:09.28 placing them sixth. 

On April 19, the PCM Girls’ Track and Field team participated in the Newton Co-Ed Invitational. They had four top three finishes helping them place seventh. Getting second place was the shuttle hurdle team of Lindsay, J. Teeter, Humpal and Karr running a time of 1:09.13. Karr placed third in the 100 meter hurdles running a time of 15.72. A. Teeter ran a time of 11:48.21 placing her third. Rylee Gallaher placed third in shot put throwing a distance of 36 ’08”.
