Junior Griffin Olson competes in the 4x100m hurdles.

On Thursday, April 6, the PCM boy’s track team placed third at the Bolts Relays at Baxter High School. They were third with 126.5 points, behind Baxter’s 132 and Lynnville-Sully’s 166. None of the Mustangs medalled, but it was the consistently good performance of everyone that gave PCM that finish. One race that PCM did do well in was the 100m dash, in which freshman Evan Jones placed second with a time of 11.74. In the end, the lead of Lynnville-Sully was insurmountable, and they celebrated by cheering on their teammates in the last race of the night before doing a victory lap after the final announcement. The Mustangs’ next meet is at East Marshall on Monday, April 10.
