2022 Oscar red carpet review

When it comes to award shows like the Oscars, I really only care about the outfits that the celebrities pull up in. I think I am a very judgy person with certain things, and this is one of them. I expect a lot out of some celebrities and sometimes they disappoint me but this year at the Oscars was surprisingly very good. They showed up and came ready for it. Listed above are my top six for both men and women. I’ll explain my number ones. So let’s start with Lily James. Can I just say GORGEOUS! The color, the hair, the makeup, the train, THE SHOES! It all just ties in together so well. I think the train kinda tops it off and adds a little something to it. I love how her look is light and flowy. It adds a ray of sunshine to the red carpet. For the men, I think that Kodi Smit-Mcphee really popped off this year. His baby blue suit was everything and more. My favorite part of the whole outfit was the shoes. The platform and the texture of them give the outfit the yes factor that we all needed. The aligned look of the suit gives it the look of sophistication that the red carpet should have. But the color of the suit, like Lily James’, adds the touch of spring that is needed right now. Here’s my pick for the top six men and women’s fashion at the red carpet.
