Snow in October?!?

On Monday October 19, snow graced Iowa grounds. A total of 1.5 inches of snow fell and shocked many PCM High School students.

“I am 100 percent very disappointed.” said senior Kaleigh Person. Many student’s cell phones rang with winter storm warnings in the middle of their 4th period classes.

“I was at lunch, and it was very loud,” said senior Dylan Warrick.

“I remember hearing the word squall and was just at a loss of words,” said senior Bess Telfer. Students walked out of school after their last class, to snow covered cars and a wet parking lot. However no accidents were reported within PCM High School students. When asked about the winter storm students had mixed responses.

“I like it, I like it a lot!” said sophomore Joel Greiner. However, other students were not as pleased with snow falling in October.

“It’s way too early!” said junior Gabbie Brundage.

“It’s ridiculous!” said junior Emily Foster.

“It was lame, and cold, and I hated it. It was way too early for me!” said sophomore Jack Eighmey.

After listening to student voices, many are not thrilled with the recent squall, where others are ready to bring on winter!
