Photos: Up the Down Staircase Sunday performance

This past weekend, PCM students put on the play Up the Down Staircase. The play was shown on Friday and Saturday at 7:00pm. and Sunday at 1:00p.m. The play was written in the 1960s and was about what it would be like to be a new teacher in an inner city high school. The play was peculiar in that it featured only 20 actors and actresses, so multiple seniors had to play more than one role. The Sunday performance is normally the understudy performance, but without any understudies it was just a regular performance. It still was done well and caused its audience to examine how education is done today and the public’s attitude towards it, which was the main goal.
