It was a close game for a while between PCM and Gilbert or a while on Tuesday night, December 13 at Monroe, but after the Mustangs shot 100% from the field in the fourth quarter, they prevailed 66-53. With the win the Mustangs kept their conference record perfect at 4-0. Sophomore Andrew Van Ryswyk was the top scorer for the Stangs with 19 points. Junior Jackson Thomas wasn’t far behind with 18. “I felt good during the game,” said Van Ryswyk.
Other scorers for the Mustangs were Elijah Sperfslage with seven points, Dayton Boell with seven, Reed Worth with six, Noah Lanphier with five, Preston Van Wyk with two and Derek Brown with two.
“We won with a good team effort and everyone contributing,” said Van Ryswyk.
